From a childhood dream to National Geographic assignments, Ciril Jabec journey as a photographer has taken him to the heart of Svaneti, Georgia—a place where ancient history meets untamed wilderness. Ski touring through this UNESCO-protected valley, he captured not only the breathtaking beauty but also the spirit of a community deeply connected to the land.

For over 10 years, he has worked with Leica Camera. Photography, for him, is more than an art—it’s a mindful exploration, where intuition and vision meet.
